there's nothing wrong with a magnaflow resonator on a custom system... don't run one of their actual mufflers tho

Yeah i noticed it, I have an s13 not saying they are different im just wondering how high it actually sits. If you could get some pics of the underside that would be amazing. I had a megan catback before and the only reason i say id go with that again is because it was above the frame rails, you couldnt see it hanging below the rails at all which is what im trying to achieve again.

This is what I'll more then likely be doing because I want it loud but I want some kind of muffler. Remember my car's gutted. Everything echos in there.

I'll have the resonator a few inches after the y-pipe with a flange then it'll go back and the split into the fence pipes.

sounds good to me man! make sure you let it exit the vehicle either side or back... mine exits under the vehicle and with the stripped interior its damn near deafening inside

those ISIS pipes don't sound that good imo, they need a resonator to cut down on the raspiness

Ding winner!!!!

Thats the exact reason I'm glad my spec 2 has a resonator in it, and why I replaced the cat with a resonated test pipe. There is a little rasp but not untill high it gets into high rpms.

Reinhard makes a Dart Izumi style exhaust that has no resonator in it. I bought one with the resonator in though, but I still love the hell out of it.
