Wouldn't the lower the pedal height? I need to take a look under the dash again. Hey maybe I'll take some pics also.

I personally like a billet steel flywheel for my type of use, but aluminum can be awesome in the right application such as autocross, road coarse, and time attack, but not so much for drift, drag, and street.

Lighter so they can achieve faster RPM in short time.
Lack of inertia so the RPM's drop faster. Even when quick shifting
Also lack of inertia allows for engine hesitation and fading on street driving.

I have driven both from 250-600hp ranges and on the street I only go steel, it's a better feel for me. But I love how you can turn out the RPM fast with an aluminum wheel and free up horsepower by rotational mass. However I prefer aluminum drives shafts which have a similar effect.

This is the first time I've ever heard of this billet steel flywheel... I previously had an Exedy clutch with Fidanza 11lbs aluminum flywheel, but this is interesting. They do make these for SR's, which I'm considering right now.

Outtowin, got any articles comparing billet steel flywheels to tradition aluminums? Want to learn more about this. There's lots of forum discussions on google about this, but I kinda want something more scientific...
