Stock SR20 ECU question

I just did the SR20det redtop swap with my s13 240sx everything is stock and I was wondering since I am using the ECU that came with the engine does it have a speed limiter on it? I haven't got to drive it yet I've only been able to crank it so far still reassembling it. If it does have a speed limter on it is there an easy way to remove it?

My redtop is limited to 119. HKS sells a speed limiter removal box, IIRC it runs about $170.

i have a digital cluster in my car and it tops out at 119 like he says. (redtop)

If someone gave me $40 I wouldn't buy that. Its not worth the risk.

You could up the boost to 1 bar and get the ecu tuned which would come with the speed limiter removed. It would be a nice upgrade. Not sure what your budget or plans for the motor are though. Just be carefull with the cheap e-bay electronics, some work great and some cause issues.
