stock intercooler

i know i know, i should get a front mount... i really plan on it once i get the car running and can afford it. but im tryin to hook the stock one up right now and i notice that it has 3 places for hoses. 1 to the throttle body, 1 to the turbo, and the 3rd i assume is going to the intake. my question is, the intake one is plugged off...so is this one necessary and if so, i guess i have to drill another hole? pics would help too, thanks

the third hole is for the recirculation back to the intake(from the factory bov).most ppl have aftermarket hotpipe/bov setups,so they cap it off.

If you take the hoses from your windshield squirters and redirect them to spray your intercooler it will help alot.

by caping it off you will not have any problems what so ever..absolutely nothing..but if you dont run another bov you will hurt your turbo (compressor surge)

when i did my sr swap i was broke like u too but you can get a ebay front mount for about 200bucks with piping
