Well, not exactly. The average minimum temp for Sask in January is -22. Temps of -40 are not exactly a normal daily occurance. In fact, prior to this year the record low was -49 and that was more than 100 years ago. Granted I am going by records up to 2000.

Yeah, ok I did some research on Sask temps. I admit it. I have no life.

live in buffalo ny and rocked the conti's last winter, honestly they were alot better than in thought they would be, and honestly i liked them better than the cooper snows i have now(i F'ing hate these tires, unless its below 5deg F, under that there awesome, above that i really really really hate them lol, granted there safer for the average driver, but id rather slide my car alil bit in a turn than have a jerky driving experience)

Well . . . while temps of -40 are not a normal daily occurence they are not all that rare either. They happen Believe me, they happen.

Better S'toon than Winnipeg, though . . . I remember [oh-oh, old guy reminicence coming on] at least one winter when there was a three-week stretch when the high every day was -25/-30 . . . plus wind chill. Not fun.

Same here. Just over 20k on ours without an issue.
20K here without any problems, either. Just a broken TPMS sensor and a nail in the tire at 3k that was plugged and been fine ever since. We are, however, putting a set of Michelins on the Versa next week. Not a lot of confidence in the Continentals even though they haven't given us any problems.

Discount Tire/America's Tire Store is having a $70 off sale online for sets of Michelins this weekend only. Ordered online and they'll be installed at the local store this coming Thursday. With the service I've always gotten from that store (advice, unlimited free balancing, rotations, etc.) plus the great Michelins I've had over the years we decided not to pass up the deal.
