I had one come off. Someone stopped and let me know where it came off, so I went back and picked it up and was going to put it back on later. When I looked closer the retaining ring was still on the wheel and all of the tabs had broken off. The dealer replaced it under warranty.

If you can't find Versa OEM rims, you could always go to Discount Tire or some other store and get a set of decent looking 15s in a stock size so you can just use your existing tires... they have some decent looking rims for not a lot of money.

Yep. That's what I would do.

Wow, I can't believe the hubcaps are falling off that easily. I had to take ONE hubcab off yesterday to retrieve a valve cover that I dropped in it. Man, not easy to remove those things in the first place and putting them back on was a bit of a PITA.

Mine too, man. There's no way mine was going to fall off anytime soon. It was really tough to remove.

You are NOT the only one with wheelcovers falling of!!! I've lost 4. Nissan replaced one right after I bought the Versa and I'm about to contact them about the others. Someone said "hubcaps are hubcaps". Nope. These are cheaply made and the plastic clips that hold them onto the wheel are inadequate. They break off one by one until the wheel cover flys off.

Write or call your dealer, and cc Nissan HQ and complain.

I love the car itself...no complaints whatsoever, but the wheelcovers are worthless.

Last Saturday afternoon I happened to see a white Versa HB turning from Damien onto Foothill in La Verne. Missing the right front hubcap. Looked terrible.

Later on the same drive I saw a really nice black Versa HB getting off the 210 fwy at Mountain in Upland. Sharp looking car with tinted windows and good looking rims.

If either car belongs to a member here, maybe they could weigh in on the issue?

i was personally thinking of painting my hubcaps black, but leaving the Nissan symbol silver... i know, but don't really have the spare funds for wheels. plus i'd like to see it on black, since that's what i plan on buying.

Nissan should make alloy wheels standard on all cars

i agree wholeheartedly. but they want to make money off people who want to replace their lost hubcaps with OE.

I know this was a while ago, but I was just messing with you. Haha.

As for staying on topic, I like the alloy wheels suggestion but its never going to happen.
