Picked up the Stillen Rockers today. Here are a few quick shots I took. I will drop them off at the paint shop tomorrow and install them Friday. Also I talked to Josh about the mud flap issue. Their shop car also had the mud flaps like 95% of all A/C's so the rockers are built to allow an original bolt over just like stock Enjoy

And what exactly are you watching on that TV, may I ask?

Looks like Lustrous Bath Babes 4, volume 6, scene 2, if I am not mistaken

Don't be coy. We both know what you were watching.

I kid! Those rockers look 100% nicer than on the Stillen website. Can't wait till you get them on!

South park reference anyone? The lord of the rings episode where they have to return the tape?

Hey Blake. Does the rocker have that two step lip like the OEM one has? You know, the first lip is where the door would meet the second lip is the one going into the threshold of the door? Will you be doing a trial fit on the ride before getting it painted?

That's gonna look sick on the coupe!

Yea it has the same angle on top to match the oem fitment on the door ledge. Also it ended up not being a clip in. No worries tho. The OEM bolts holes on the front and back are used. Along the top will be the infamous double sided tape. Its not going anywhere. Im also going to break out the FSM this morning and pop off the OEM rocker to test fit the Stillen set

EDIT: Stock clips not used because the meeting point along the bottom of the OEM rocker is now extended a half inch lower, so we'll attach it at the top

Just for reference the removal and installation of the OEM rocker is in the FSM. Section: Exterior, Page 41. 9 clips under the bottom of the car, 1 screw in the front, and 1 screw in the rear I'm doing this write up because these are going to be a huge factor Stillen instructions since they don't exist yet. If there are any questions, let me know. They can all help towards final write up

Heres some picture of the test fit. To take off the OEM rocker is fairly simple. Took about 10 min.

Yeah... I've always thought the same thing about their pictures. In fact I always wondered how a company can spend so much money developing their product and not take the time to snap some good pictures.

Pretty happy it's a replacement skirt and not an overlay... double sided tape is good as long as the urethane doesn't warp after it's taken out of the mold. Just got my 19" 5Zigen 5ZR's, Borla, springs, and Intake put on over the weekend so I'm a little short on cash but you can bet this is next on my shopping list.

Dang! it does look good and you're right..the Stillen pictures doesn't do it justice! I'm definately ordering a set for my coupe! Thanks Blake for posting up the different angle shots!

BTW,..when you took off the rocker, I'm sure you had to have taken off the front splash guard / mud flap. Did you put it on the Stillen rocker to see if it would fit or compliment the look? If not, can you. If that request is too much or a PITA, I understand.

LOL.. Give us a chance! The part has been out for less than a DAY! Blake literally picked up the first production piece, before we even wrote the instructions or installed it back onto our own vehicle.

Once we can get them installed on our A/C and painted, we'll be taking the car back into the studio for the official shots.

We could have kept it a secret and hidden..

Sick and slick dude! I have been waiting to see how these look so that I can invest in the whole front facia/rocker kit.

Wonder how these would look painted black with a precision grey body?
