hey Kyle,

I did reuse the OEM rubber hangers, however, the OEM exhaust on the V6 did not come w/ a resonator, therefore no hangers. Also, I'm experiencing a lot of droning. What can I do? What is the typical break in period for Stillen exhausts? And should droning reduce after break in?

NISMO arrived at 11:53! am haha

I had it at the garage around 330 and im picking it up tomarrow around 230. I talked to the guys there and they said no problem about the Dyno testing. I'll have the numbers / vids up tomarrow afternoon, probably around 4-5pm. This exhuast itself looks awesome, i really like the tips a lot. the nismo graphic on the side is sleek and the tips are a lot bigger than i expected (4" diameter). The package is around 65 pounds, but i think the exhaust itself is listed around 58lbs. I'm extremly excited for it and have high hopes! I think its going to sound deep and smooth, thats what im going for anyways. check back tomarrow for the vids!

So they're taking a whole day to install it? It shouldn't take more than 45 minutes assuming their shop has a lift.

I see that you are in Orange County. If you'd like to bring the car down we could take a look at it and make sure everything is good and happy. shoot me an email tomorrow and we'll arrange a time that will work for all of us...

My appointment was for today at 10am, but just got my car there early and chilled with them for a bit and checked out their new projects they have going.

Kyle - Any answer on the hangers for the 3.5? Will you be including those in future kits or will we have to buy them?

Just an idea for Stillen..

Since the only exhausts that are popular on this board are Stillen and Nismo, i think you guys ( Stillen) should offer a group buy discount on your exhausts. A lower price incentive will probably make the Stillen exhaust the better buy off the bat!

AND!!! I think you guys should offer free shipping to canada as well.. ....Toronto to be exact...

^ I would have to second that! Of course, free shipping to Hawaii for me

How's about a group buy if we get 15-20 pieces? Since Stillen manufactures the exhausts, I'm sure we could get a really good deal because there is no middle man.

And Kyle, any word on the shipping cost for Hawaii (96706) yet?

808- You should have seen my inbox this morning...All these canadians need freight quotes on their intakes haha.

My warehouse is doing a good job of getting through all the freight quotes but it might be a few more minutes.

Which city is it exactly? UPS says the zip isn't good enough...

Kyle - Don't mean to beat a dead horse but have you looked into the issue with the hangers on the 3.5 since we don't come with a stock resonator?

We are looking into this.

Our blue car is a 3.5 w/CVT and that is the one that we developed the exhaust on. We don't really understand how there can be a difference between our car and some of the other cars so we are going to look into this further and see what we can come up with.

Kyle,

Since nobody seems to be able to post up a video or sound clip could you possibly have someone give us a taste so we can hear this bad boy? Vids are up with a Nismo and everyone is anxiously awaiting to hear the Stillen...

Well, I hope somebody can come through before i do, cause i only ordered my stillen exhaust today, so figured 1.5 weeks (like tyler, coast to coast shipping), and then having a weekend to install it.....

Tyler will come through before then :-)

We did a sound clip but our building is in the middle of three major freeways and an airport (we are literally boxed in by all this) so there was a lot of outside noise that messed up the sound clip. We are actively searching for a better location to do sound clips and I will have something soon.

Well, that sucks because I was hoping to order your exhaust before the discount expired but I'm not going to order it without hearing it. After it goes back to regular price, it will be the same price I can get on a Nismo. At that point, I guess I might as well go with them because the sound clips that were just posted on here sounded real good. That is unless you can extend your price or get us a group buy going...

Kyle said that if the INJENGB code is used before the end of the month, the 10% still applies to the exhaust. I AM NOT SURE if you will be required to buy an intake as well.

With the group buy, I purchased both for $915 shipped. The guys buying Nismo exhaust and intakes from some place else probably spent $1200-$1300 after shipping.

Don't think that is the sound clip he is looking for. Johnny was holding his rpm's in this video so we could hear the drone. Not reving the rpm's so we could hear the exhaust....

Already have my intake so I don't believe I can take part in the group buy. That is unless Kyle tells me I'm wrong....

Mine came in today....I would be tearing my exhaust off as we speak, however, I have the same problem with the hangers, don't have any and they are not included (6ers out there be warned). So instead of installing my exhaust tonight, I'm headed to Nissan right now to order some factory hangers. I'm sure I might be able to get something that "will work" from one of the auto parts stores but I'm picky with my car and want it to be factory specific since that is what Stillen mocked up theirs with. Oh well, guess a few more days won't kill me.....I hope.

Brian i got mine today too, we both have CVT's, and i'm sure i'll have the hanger problem as well. I planned on attempting an install tomorrow but i guess now i'll wait until either kyle comes up with a solution or i can get some from nissan

Just got back from the dealer. They charged me $5 a hanger (not sure if that's a lot or not but didn't care for $10). Sucky thing is it's a special order part of course and will take 3-5 business days to come in. I e-mailed Kyle and he says they are trying to work out a solution for the future exhaust that go out. No real solution for us who's have already shipped or been received other than going out and buying hangers. I asked him for a little compensation on a future part for the trouble but haven't heard back as of writing this. Sometimes I guess being one of the first to get a part isn't always the best....
