So here they are folks The Stillen Lip and Spoiler for the 4th Gen. Altima Sedan. I would like to thank Kyle, Josh and Stillen for giving me the chance of being the first one with these.

Lip

Spoiler

Rockers

So what do you guys think? I think they compliment the car very well and look good.

Jose,

Thanks for comin' down today bud! Unfortunately the rockers appeared about ten minutes after you had already left...

Well, I look forward to seeing everything painted and if you're still interested in the rockers we'll see what we can work out.

SWEET! I've been waiting for this. Damn coup guys think they get all the fun Good thing I didn't get the oem spoiler, I like this look waaaayyy better. And the lip is pretty nice too, wouldn't mind picking that up while I'm at it. Can you take more pics of the lip to see where it gets taped/screwed on? Or is it permanently on already?

The tape supplied will hold the rear wing on.. that stuff is no joke. No drilling is required.

(Yours being the first, and the fact that we're planning on installing it, is why yours probably did not have the tape applied like a normal one would as we ship it.. )

Yep.. there's some tricks that can be used for installing the lip, if you're DIY'er, after paint this is something you can install yourself, or better yet, with some friends on a weekend, taking maximum care of the placement of the lip (or wing) before final install with tape.

The trick to installation is starting small sections of exposed tape, just enough to allow the backing to hang below/above the actual part, carefully aligning and getting the piece where it should be, then pulling the backing of the rest of the tape while the lip/wing is installed, ensuring it doesn't have a chance to move.

(Hopefully that made sense.. )

Makes sense to me, just like with the stillen kit for the Maxima's. How long will it be before these are for sale on the stillen site?

nice...they look sexy on the car, especially on the black. i will be getting the lip by the end of this summer!

that lip wing on the trunk looks nice too...i would trade up for that with my OEM spoiler, but then i would lose my 3rd brake light.

btw jose...what springs are you running on, and how much stiffer are they than the stock springs.

oh and another thing, our cars are gonna look like duplicates when i get my lip. my grill was painted with a high gloss finish by a professional body shop, and it looks like the OEM finish.

+1 on the lip bro, it looks hot!

one more thing....how much lower is the front with the lip?

If you already have the OEM spoiler than I suggest you keep that because its drilled in and it looks nice, this spoiler is a lot smaller and its held on by double sided tape. The car has Eibach Pro Kit, they're not that much stiffer than the OEM but do make a big difference so the ride quality is good. I'm not sure how much lower it is I need to check that.

Kyle,Would I be able to pick up the rockers this week so I can try to get them all painted at the same time?

Jose,

The rockers are ready anytime.. you will be bringing the painted pieces back so we can install and shoot photos for the installation articles correct? Just want to make sure there is no confusion.

Thanks again for your support, I apologize the rockers missed you by just a bit when you were here.

heh.. it's a fix-it-ticket.. no worries..

actually we have a front license plate bracket that screws into the front tow hook for a super clean license plate install for those who want to rock that..

Also, if anyone is converting back to a no plate situation, one of the guys in the office had good results with this site, which has plugs to make the drilled in holes look normal again.. http://www.bumperplugs.com/BPindex.html

I might want to try that out plate holder, how much is it? I've seen the bumperplugs on Ramons car(you prototyped the 2.5 exhaust on his car) and they look good.

Rockers

I had no one to help me out so that's why the doors are open, they're holding the rocker in place.

damn that looks really nice. now once you get everything properly installed and painted and everything, you are going to have to take some side profile pictures as well as pictures from far away so we can really see how it looks on the car.

i personally think the sedan is starting to look much more better than the coupe. thanks for the products stillen.

btw...are there any plans for rear valences of any kind, just to complete the look of the car. the 2009 maxima has come kind of rear valence that comes on the SV Sport model, maybe stillen can model something after that.

The guys over at Stillen will be taking pictures of the car once its done. They didn't mention anything for the rear bumper to me so I don't know if they are working on something.
