OK got an idle issue. My cars an auto, so when its gear and idling it will idle normal for a sec then the RPMS drop but recover and idle normaly again. It keeps doing this. When I goto take off if the throttle is applied easy it will stumble a little but will accelerate and once past about 3000rpms its ok. But if full throttle is applied from the start it boggs and will die. I've tried all that I can think to do.Still not fixed. So that means:Cleaned IACV&AAC, Cleaned MAF, Check all grounds and cleaned, new EGR, new EGR temp sensor, checked for vacumm leaks but still have the problem. WTF is it? PLease if anyone ever got this figured out please help me out.

Take your throttle position sensor to autozone and have them test it out before you go buying a new one...

I had sort of the same problem, EVAP, Purge, O2 Sensor IAAVC or whatever, and some other things were off line and the car would not idle, the check engine light would come on even after reset, I grabbed a multimeter and the wiring diagram, mine's a 96, and found out that all of these sensors were under the same circuit and that a positive wire was grounding, so i pulled the engine harness out and re insulated it and that fixed the problem.

If u haven't yet look into your sparkplug wires, it sounds a lot like that could be the problem, if cracked they might be grounding, or check your distribuitor cap and rotor...and either one of these problems would trip the ecu as far as codes!!!

I too would check for the TPS function. It shouldn't be bad with a multimeter. ~0.45v closed and ~4.0v at WOT.
