hmm, i probably could, but not anytime soon. i took my car down last week (in the process of changing turbos)

if you really want i might be able to loan my splitfires to you while my car is down... a direct comparison test might be something worthy of a writeup

That probably isn't a bad idea. I'll pay for shipping if you'll loan them to me for a week or two. And if I go external CNP, then there's no more splitfire comparison for me.

Let's start a pool. My hunch is it's not coil related either, but I've already stated my case.

Quit be lazy and get four different sets of plugs at different heat ranges and different gaps and spend a day testing.

Dave at lethal injection in georgia, swears by his ignition setup. its a wasted spark setup, Buick GNX MSD Ignition straight wired to the plugs. no coilpacks, and he said it runs a lot smoother across the RPM's even with the wasted spark. i didnt read to see if you diagnosed what your problem was, but thats the ignition im going with. forget the coilpacks.

Cameron - Zenkicam are you saying that you're going to replace the GN wasted spark coil system with a straight up MSD GN ignition? I'm confused because you said he is getting rid of the coilpacks entirely. I don't think that's possible.

gawdzilla - email sent

cdorhout - I'll talk to you tonight and convince you that I'm right

Will's the man for lending me his coils. I just hope the car runs well after installing them. But then again, I might not want to take them back out because I'll be having so much fun cranking up the boost. jk

If it isn't the coils, then I'm stumped and will have to do more troubleshooting.
