I don't remember exactly how many hours it took to replace mine, but I think it was about 5 hours including a suspension fluid flush, bleeding the system and testing the car. I got mine done in an afternoon. A friend of mine did it for me and I helped. He never worked on an Q45 and we went with Keith's instructions.96Qowner wrote:For the readers who aren't wrench-turners, could someone estimate the labor costs for replacing accumulators and actuators? Recharging all 9 accumulators only costs $1200 - what would the labor cost be?
Ok, even at $100/hr labor, that's only another $500 = $1700. As far as leaks, it's not an issue on the remanned accumulators, right? I know you're trying to find a seal for the actuators. So, maybe some cost for a rebuilt actuator or two?lino wrote:I don't remember exactly how many hours it took to replace mine, but I think it was about 5 hours including a suspension fluid flush, bleeding the system and testing the car. Correct96Qowner wrote:So, completely restoring an active is a ballpark figure with labor of $2000-$3000.
