The part about rain is a fact. You have to be driving like a complete a$$ to have any local cops around here pull you over in the rain. And if one does pull in the rain, rest assurd you are getting a ticket.

It is a general rule that the officers around here wont pull you unless you are doing 10 over, and then only if they think they can get you for something else, lights out, those stupid little windshield washer light, or if they know you are a pot head. Nearly all of them wont write you until you are doing at least 15 over.

Dead Prez is a very opinionated rap group. Click on the link in my previous post to get an idea.

Jester I threw in the rain part because my last ticket I got was during the rain. Needless to say the cop was really pissed.

appearantly I was speeding, I disagree with that though but what can I do. Then I fishtailed my car after a stop sign. I was guilty as sin for this. I never saw him and thought I'd have a little fun. If he had of wanted to I could have gotten wreckless. He charged me with careless. So that leaves me with 1 point left on my license. What annoys me most is I have accumulated all 11 points in the last 4 months. I have been driving for 5 years and had only one previous ticket before the last 4 months.

Im not familiar with the point system. What happens after you use up the points? No license? For how long?

Ryan-I would kinda feel a bit inconvienced about being pulled over for not committing a traffic violation. I guess you chalk this one up as, "At least I didnt get a ticket."

A little incovienced, yes, but I wasn't in a rush top get anywhere. Just going home to continue packing, so it wasn't a big deal. Now if I was on my way to class it may have been a different story, but then again, who cares, it would have been a great story to tell the Prof after I showed up 15 minutes late.

Yeah, most cops in Indiana will allow 5 over in a residential, but not a school. 10 over on a 2 or 3 lane street and 15 over on the highway, as long as you aren't driving like an arse. At least that is what my dad and buddies said. He was on bikes as an IPD traffic officer for 35 years. Another good thing, is that I know almost all of the IPD traffic officers, which may come in handy some times. The only problem is that I live in the county mounty area and work in Franklin now. But at least I know the State Trooper that usually runs radar on 65 south of Indy.

Thanks for the comps about the car.

I still have trouble actually believing that it happened, but it did. It is one of those stories I will be telling for a long time.

Yeah the way the points in tennessee go is 12 points you could get 1 of 3 things : defensive driving class, 6 month suspension, 12 month suspension.

I can't remember his name. But I haven't seen him around since then. It was between Greenwood and Franklin, I guess the Whiteland area.
