Hell yeah, that post scared the crap out of me.

Plus my damn turbo seals are still gone. It smokes like a chimney at a stop light or when ever I leave the car with the turbo timer on.

POS turbo, i guess its time for that T3T4:D

It's a bit hot... I guess no more or no less than a normal turbo would be. My bro's Talon TSi would get pretty warm up under there.

Would a sticky wastegate give me pretty crappy throttle reponse too? I mean, when I first start the motor (cold start) it takes it a few chugs to get going and if I try to help it by giving gas, it has no affect weather the pedal is all the way to the floor or not touched at all.

I am going to work on it tomorrow.... I just put in 60 hours this week at work and I am DEAD tired.....

BTW... Jon, IM me if you want to come down tomorrow. We can take a look at your car too if it is still acting up.

Joe

Whats funny is, ill be sitting at a stop light for about a minute, and since the oil isnt really moving that fast thru the turbo while idling, smoke starts to build up and come out the exhaust.

I mean a big cloud of smoke, right onto the front of the car behind me. Then when I take off and the turbo spools up, it shots more smoke at the car behind me.

James Bond type stuff :thumbup
