ok, i have asked for help with my problem before. you guys have given me a lot of help. i have figured out what my car is actually doing, but i do not know the cause of it.

After we hooked up a scanner to me car this is what we found...When i start to boost my timing is retarded a lot. i dont know what the numbers mean but...no boost= about 36 boost= starts to drop to 15 or lower. one time all the way to 9. i can feather the pedal and it is fine. once boost even remotly starts...timing drops dramatically. sputter, no get-up and go. The more boost, the more timing is retarted...longer i boost, the more timing is retarded. Please help me again.

Thank you!!!

This may be an unrelated incident, but mine had the same issue as yours and it was a HUGE boost leak in my piping that I had retightened 10+ times over and over. Took it off then retightened...same procedure for over two months until it finally clamped the leak I guess.

depending on the scanner you are using, seeing a number that is dropping would not mean it is retarding it, because the car should run at 20 degrees befor TDC at idle, a dropping numbers would mean advancing, at least that is how my motus works.
