Ok stop posting if your going to talk to yourself..........

Update:

Fired her up last night. Took me 2 days to message all the kinks that I ran into but she starts up no problem every time.

-Had to cut about 1.5 inches of material from the metal in between the head lights to clear the fans from the ps pully.

-Had 2 grounds that where cut on accident.

-have to figure out my cluster problem. I have a dohc cluster but I left it out in the ran thinking that I would never use it. So im not sure if it works. My rpm signal isnt working doe on both the sohc and the dohc tach. I'll tackle that tomm.

-adjust my FPR

-i need to remove the 3 month old 87 from the fuel tank and put in some fresh 93. She smoked so bad that the my eyes started to burn.....lol

But hopefully I can drive her before my birthday which is nov. 7th

I'll shoot a vid tomm if anyone cares to see.

I talked to a local that has a rb25 in a 260z. His son bought his short shifter from some company in Australia. Seems that it is the same as this 35 dollar one I saw on ebay.....my favorite store.

Here is the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ySnpeywyRE

There are a few things I still have to clean up. I slapped on the stock bov pipe and custom rigged a pipe for the IAC valve. But like I said that was temp to see of it woul run better.

Before I loom all the wiring up im going to:

1) check continuity on all my sensors to there desinateed areas (relays, ecu, and grnds)

2) I still need to run some hose from the valve cover breather to the intake.

3) If everything is good with the CAS then adjust timing once I have cleaned up the timing.

4) I dont want to fool with the stock rpm tach so im running #7 straight to my Autometer tach.

After all that is done im hoping that the idle will clear up as well as the smoke.

I should be taking my measurements tomm so I can get my custom shaft made. Then I need to re-tape the wiring harness, Relocate fuse box, get my aftermarket bov welded on, install dash and battery relocation kit, add some transmission fluid and what ever else i left out.

What kind of transmission fluid do you guys use?? I have heard great things about amsoil and some shyncromesh that is found at some local dealership.

Nistune is not coming out with a motherboard for the z32 to run on the rb25. until summer.. I was trying to get one too and was exchanging emails with the guy who tunes them and he said till late summer.. still a prototype he said! at the moment he only got it for the rb20

best option is RSP. they have a stage 1 ECU (full exhaust, intake, boost up to .85, FMIC) a few people that i know running this actually like them!dyno proven 310-320 hp

$444 shipped! check them out!

I thought that the z32 was chippable. If im not mistaken all you have to do is chip it, swap a few pins and burn the map into the ecu. Well I may use a rb20 ecu since im thinking about installing some flashy cam gears.

John..........I replied to your post. I don't have that collar piece. Sorry. Do you think you can find it on a z32?? There transmission's are suppose to be similar.

Here are the pics that everyone has been wanting me to post. I have been daily driving this car for about 3 months now give or take. Havnt had any problems except the clutch slave cylinder pusting on me and the pressure plate issues. Oh yeah and I woke up this morning to a dead battery. Hope no one flames me for any reason.

Enjoy.

Im working o rims and 5 lug swap right now. And a lil bit of suspension. Im scared to show the whole car because both fenders are brown, red rear bumper, white body, primered gas cap lid, hood, front bumper.

What do you think about a 2 tone paint job just like the coupes. im thinking grey/silver on the top and a deep gunmetal grey bottom.
