Sounds like a lot of work pulling a motor. I changed the drivers manifold yesterday and had three of the four engine mount bolts break. I'm thinking I might have to pull it to get the bolts out. I tried welding on a nut to them and it keeps breaking off. I am not looking foward to it. How long do you think it will take? I do have it on a lift and the front diff is out already from doing the manifold.
Thanks

Having the front diff out makes it a LOT easier. The hardest parts of the engine pull was the engine mounts and starter as the front diff was in the way. Also had issues with the oil pan hitting the diff when trying to pull.
You have to pull all 3 parts of the intake manifold as the top 2 bolts on the transmission are tough to reach.

To pull the head off you pretty much have to pull the engine otherwise you can't really get the water transfer tube off the back side of the head.

With the diff out I could probably pull the engine in a few hours but that's only because I have done it once. Maybe take you 4-6 hours if you are proficient and have air tools.
