One of the better things (and one of the CHEAPEST things) I did to improve the driveability of my S14 with the upgraded clutch was replace the stock rubber clutch line with a stainless line. The pedal got smoother and overall just feels better.

The clutch line has the same construction as our stainless brake lines. Teflon inner hose, stainless steel braided exterior, with a protective covering to prevent premature wear of the teflon hose by dirt and other elements.

$24 shipped, fits S13s, S14s, CAs, KAs, and SRs alike.

We got a bunch in stock :)

Very little, however be sure that when you are bleeding it you are not draining the small clutch fluid resevoir else you'll just be sucking in air. I'd suggest every 2 times you purge the line pressure after pumping you should check the level.

It's to denote that ground shipping is free, air is extra. Common sense really but we just include the asterisk to re-affirm that.

Yep... $24 shipped to your door via UPS, we can have them out Monday.

DAMN!

Awesome mod, awesome price. Combine that clutch line with the loop removal though. Makes great pedal feel. I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine. Nismo lines are something ridiculous like 70 or 80 dollars.

I thought the asterisk might denote something like "on orders over $50" or something...but this is better! Do you deal with paypal? I'd like to order one! my email is [email protected]

I also have a question about the clutch box removal. Are there different designs for that system that vary with the production year? Mine has a little box, but no big loop as I have seen with other cars. Thanks!

No, it's the same for all cars. Remove the hardline that comes from the master cylinder, bend it to fit the new line to the master cylinder, use a 10mm to unbolt the box off the frame rail. pretty simple job, just be careful when bending the line.

The pictures show a short hard line coming from the stock rubber clutch line, and a long hard line coming from the master cylinder--both are connected to the box thing (i guess it's the dampener box). Anyway, also connected to the box in the picture, is a long fat pipe that appears to loop above and into another box with nipple. Mine doesn't have the long fat pipe loop and second box! All i have is the master cylinder hard line connected to the first box, which then connects to the shorter hard line to the rubber clutch line. I dunno..i thought it was strange. anyway...thanks chunkiDori and SPL!

its a "clutch dampener box" but it seems to make clutch pedal feel not as predictable as without it. and yes it can be removed.

Hey i just relized that you guys were in the newest? sport compact. Sweet stuff. You guys are really on the top of your game. That 300z would have been nothing without those suspension parts. If you have some stickers for your shop I would gladly put them on my car. You could throw them in with my clutch line. keep up the good work.

Are there any disadvantages to this removal?I mean the engineers put the system there for a reason, right? What are we risking when removing this "block and loop" system?

It was installed to make the clutch smoother, but is counter productive when you have an aftermarket clutch.

it also supposedly makes bleeding the clutch hydraulic system more difficult
