Alright Nismo_Freak, sounds like I'm gonna have to come down there and get some racing in. That is if I get the money I need for a new suspension before then....

Judging from the picture, it looks like they come with new banjo bolts and copper washers. Is that correct?

Btw, the spl site has them listed for $75 as well.

I simply copied and pasted that in error.

i just just got the ss lines...alittle disappointed

the ss lines are black instead of blue as advertised in the beginning of this post. i even called to see if they were the regular color ss lines or blue as on the website, they said blue. but yet they're black.

i don't mean to bash on spl, but the quality isn't up to par w/ the bf goodridge ss lines. some of the black moldings on the endlinks are deformed. i can't see the connections where the hose and endlinks meet or the ss because of a hard rubber cover....so i can't tell about that....(it does come with four bolts and eight copper washers)

i'll be putting them on thursday and we'll see after my autocross event this weekend.

so i can't tell you if its a good deal or not.....but as of right now....."you get what you pay for....."

Hmm... thats unfortunate. Not much I can do about that I'm afraid.

Especially since I no longer work there... just don't have the time.

Will these work with Maxima calipers?

Lengths will be different as well as the possibility of different fittings... I would not suggest it.

Dont worry about the color man, Once they're under the car it won't matter what color they are! It's the performance that matters and as long as they don't leak or break, they have to be better than stock, plus it came with the washers and bolt!!!

oh don't get me wrong....i'm not the show kind of guy....

i prefer sleepers, than looks.....but the thing is that they said it was blue, but i got black

but we'll see this weekend (just sucks that it might rain this weekend, and i just got some Falken Azenis tires on my 5 zigens)

if they perform well my recommendation is in (it beats paying $140 for the bf goodrige lines)

hey, sr20power, this is off topic, but how do you like your HE's? I'm seriously considering them, but I'm not sure if I really need coilovers.

float....i love the HE's!!! i can't really compare them to anything else because these are my first set of coilovers.

at first, when i had them on they were very stiff, almost unbearable. i was about to buy a second set of softer springs for daily driving. but after my first autocross event, i fell in love, even for daily driving.

i autocross and started practicing drifting (drift day's).... to me, it was worth every penny (damper adjustment and height adjustments)

my brother got he's 92 240sx and now also got a set of the HE's sitting in the living room waiting to be installed.

if you don't care about the adjustability then i would save the money to go with a spring and shock combo or if you live with a lot of pot holes and rough roads (you might want to consider softer set of springs.......

good luck with your decision......

My car is a daily driver, but I also autocross and that is a big consideration for me. I had a eibach sportline/AGX combo before, but with my weather and intown driving, I'd like to be able to lower and raise the ride height as I need it. Decisions, decisions...

Don't forget that as you raise and lower it, camber AND toe change and not always for the better. i.e. alignment @ $65+ a pop. I've had GAB coilovers on my GVR-4 for over 4 years and haven't changed the height once. It's only lowered about an inch. Lower isn't always better. A friend that auto-X's had lowered his galant car about 2.5". Now his is up where mine is. You need suspension travel. Coilovers are good if you plan to corner-weight.

I'm kind of starting to hear alot that people who get coilover's set them once and then don't mess with them much. Knowing myself, this may also be the case. I still have a month to make up my mind, as I don't have the money together yet. I may decide to get another set of AGX's ( I loved those struts! ) but I don't think I'd get the sportlines again. I'd either get the prokits, or whitelines. I will have pillowball uppers this time though. I do think that is something that I would play with so that I could minimize the inside tire wear that comes with negative camber.

i'm one of those people your talking about float....when i got them i set the height and got an alignment, and that was it. it was left like that for 3 months or so.

then i got new rims (5 zigens w/ falken) and i has to raise the rear up alittle about 1 1/2" because of the tires were pretty close to the fender lip. so it came pretty handy to have that option of adjustability on height. i plan to get the car corner balanced, which will useful again to have the height adjustment.

good luck....

well just got back from autocross....man was it a good day!!! :asmile got 1st place in my class!!! love the falken's :asmile

first time out w/ my 5 zigens and falken's at the track. simple beautiful, it's amazing how much of a difference tires make.

toledo - yes i did put them on, a simple bolt on affair. (i have stock calipers) it was quite noticeable from the rubber hose. with normal driving, the initial braking is the same. when braking hard with the rubber hoses were kind of mushy, couldn't tell when the tire were going the lock.

on the track i noticed the pedal has a more solid feel to it. it might also have to do with the falkens instead of the crappy street tires. because i was able to get on the brakes later with more confidence, and not understeer thru the turn. i don't know too much about brake pads, but it was a straight linear feel in the pedal.

hope that helps...

i give the product 2 thumbs up (for $85 to your front door is very nice)

there's only a slight modification you need to do .....

the brake clip needs to be slightly pinched together, because its too big to hold the brake lines.....use pliers and pinch to two prongs together....that's it...

while still on the subject, wouldn't it be a safe and cheap alternative to use the z32 lines, but use all the fittings (including the ones on the firewall), all the way to a z32 master?

You know, you'll be using all the z32 components all the way up...Any problem with the guys who have done it?

Also can this kit be used in a z32 to s13/14 conversion, or only on stock z32,s13,s14,etc..?
