stage 3 cams

what needs to be done to run stage 3 cams besides the valve springs retainers and solid lifters is there other mods i should do before that to make the cams work better.... i have a redtop sr20 in a 89 hatch with greddy intake manifold and stock injectors and a boost controller

Stage 3 cams are for a power band of over 400+whp. Stage 1 cams will do great up to 400whp. So you should look into stage 1 or 2 cams. Un-less you plan to rev to 9000+ RPM.

well i dont plan on stopping at the cams you kno but it was just a question ... i didnt want to buy step 2 cams then going for more power then having to buy new cams ..... also whats the difference between the old and new greddy intake manifold for the s13 sr20 .... why do they sell just a upper tank
