Greg,I got the news late last night from dan. I've known the family for 3 years and you all have become family to me. The kids are like the brothers I've never had and Saraya a second sister. You guys took Dan and I in when we moved out there with the homecooked meals, garage to work on cars and shelter when we were too tired to drive once we finished projects. Stacey was always there to talk some sense into me. She is a second mom to me, but as said she's in a better place looking down on us all. I feel beyond lucky to have met and known her. i may be in kansas now but i'm only a flight away.

give the kids my love and dont hesitate to call.

Greg,There's not much I can add to this thread.

Just know that you and Stacey have both been in my thoughts and I am deeply saddened by her loss.

I've been down similar roads, so if you ever need a friend, just to talk to, you have my number.

awww man, when stuff like this happens, its a sin. The Child kids are so young and loosing a mother at that age is horrific. I can't even amagine loosing my mother at 21, yikes. I am sorry to hear on her passing and you have my deepest condolences. Ahhh, what makes this worest was that she was an avid Giants fan too.

I cannot offer up a picture, but I will leave one of my favorite song lyrics (Tool's "Wings of Marie, part 2"):

"You're the only one who can hold your head up high,Shake your fists at the gates saying:"I've come home now!Fetch me the spirit, the son, and the father.Tell them their pillar of faith has ascended. It's time now!My time now!Give me my, give me my wings!"

Rest, NiCO-Mom. You have left a legacy and shall never be forgotten.

Although i really don't know any of you personally...this site has really helped me out so much. So to hear a member who actually helped find the site has passed away is really a sad time. Best wishes to you and your kids....

If you need anything at all let me know, we are all here for you. Remember spending all last year at Nopi with her at the booth helping with shirts. She was a great person and a big force behind Nico. She'll never be forgotten.

Greg,

I wanted to send my deepest condolences to you and to your family during your time of healing. A spouse is a hard thing to lose and is never an easy thing to clear from your mind. The idea isn't to clear your mind of the loss, but to remember the good times and good feelings and experiences you gained through them. Remember her with all your heart, but don't morn her indefinitely...she wouldn't have wanted that. Use this time to think about the things she taught you, think about the things you've let slide and try to show her that you did learn from her and cherish everything she gave to your world and left behind for you...like wonderful children.

Keep your head up Greg. All of your friends care for you and we're all here for you. I wish I could say this to you in person, but it seems we're on different sides of the pond. I'm sorry I didn't get to say this till just now..but know that it means no less...

Mike

Greg, I am very sorry for your loss. may god bless you and you family in this difficult time. I will be praying for you guys.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (New International Version)

13Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.

hang in there man.

Wow, I'm at a loss for words I'm really sorry to hear about Stacey. I wish I could have met her. I know she was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend. Greg, you and your family have been in my prayers and I will continue to pray for you and yours. Take care and remember you have a strong support system here for you.

Love, Stephanie

You shall cross the barren desert, but you shall not die of thirst. You shall wander far in safety, though you do not know the way.

You shall speak your words in foreign lands, and all will understand,You shall see the face of God and live.

Be not afraid,I go before you always,Come follow Me,and I shall give you rest.

If you pass through raging watersin the sea, you shall not drown. If you walk amidst the burning flames, you shall not be harmed.

If you stand before the pow’r of helland death is at your side, know that I am with you, through it all

Be not afraid,I go before you always,Come follow Me,and I shall give you rest.

Blessed are your poor, for the Kingdom shall be theirs.Blest are you that weep and mourn, for one day you shall laugh.

And if wicked men insult and hate you, all because of Me,blessed, blessed are you!

Be not afraid,I go before you always,Come follow Me,and I shall give you rest.

Two of my NICOMom memories:

Pwning Jimmy, was that a year ago or so?

The expression on her face when she saw Dan-o at NOPI Nationals last year.
