I was set on getting the HICAS rear sway too until I realized I would still have to get new endlinks, polyurethane bushings, and bushing D-brackets, which would push up the total price of it. (+$40, using those parts from JCWhitney.com) Getting that hardware elsewhere would cost even more.

Instead I've decided to get the Suspension Techniques rear bar for $130 shipped from summitracing.com. It is 21mm, and the HICAS bar is 23mm, but the ST is solid steel and the HICAS is hollow steel. So they're pretty even, since some have said that hollow bars are slightly less stiffer than a solid bar of the same diameter.

The HICAS bar is pretty hard to find, and when you do find it, it may be scratched and rusted, and then you have to source all the hardware for it in the right size. So you have to ask yourself if it's worth the extra time and trouble over just getting a new ST bar (with warranty) for a little more $.

THe stock bar is HOLLOW...The ST bar is SOLID. THerefore, ST is also STRONGER. Check the Whiteline chart.. http://www.whiteline.com.au/do...p.pdfh ... do...r.pdf

well there really isnt much hardware needed for the HICAS bar. usually, it should come with the endlinks cuz it would be more work for the person to take those endlinks off of that bar lol. but if it is gonna cost that extra amount, then go with the ST bars.
