So ive decided i think im gonna work on the rest of the suspension before i drop the car.Up first is some sway bars...and ST seems to be the best for the buck and decently thick as well.

Anyone running these on a s13 and can give me some feedback?

I'd appreciate it

Can't really anwser your question, but I am planning on getting a set of these bars as well. From what i hear the ST bars are very nice, only prob, non-adjustable.

I used to have a solid one (non adjustable) on the rear of my old skyline, and i still noticed a huge improvement while drifting. But it was cheap, and I dont know how much your spending on the new "ST"

But non adjustable isnt all bad..

Ask AxelGrungy, he used to have them on his old S13. Night and day difference he said.

whiteline was my other option

but what is the big difference when it comes to adjustable or not...besides wellbeing able to adjust em...i mean what would a different setting entail?

I have ST front and rear sway bars.. I don't really know what compare them too, because I had coilovers on before the bars, so there wasn't much body roll to start with.. but chassis flex is very low now, when comming in and out of some driveways and parking lots at an angle, a wheel will come off the ground.

I believe the front is 29mm and the rear is 21mm... and they're bright green, with red bushings

i plan on getting new swaybars myself. I have heard good things, but i am willing to bet that the night and day difference has to do with the replacement of the stabilizer bar endlinks, which tend to wear out.

i don't know if the ST swaybars are authentic on ebay, but the ones on enjuku's site are silver and the ones on ebay are green and i don't see any endlinks in the picture where as enuku's comes with them.

Aftermarket Sway Bars

Largus - Front bar is 32mm and 2 way adjustable, rear bar is 28mm non-adjustable. Tubular steel construction. Stock type endlinks. Largus includes new bushings with purchase. These swaybars will NOT clear the Greddy SR20 oil pan.

Cusco - Front bar 30mm, 27.5mm in the rear.

Suspension techniques - Front bar 28.6mm, 20.64mm in the rear. Solid steel construction. Stock type endlinks
it looks like if your going to go ST, your probably just as good off to keep your stock front swaybar and replace the endlinks and bushings and just get the ST rear swaybar.

Largus is overkill and they cost 2 much.

i tihnk the new green is a new color

and enjuku's pic is probably old

Since the ST comes with d-bushings and end links you might as well just get both correct? I mean paying like 300shipped for both ST bars is a helluva deal compared to like 200 for one of the other brands

except the rear ST swaybar isn't much different than the stock thickness.

To confirm, green is the new color. I just ordered mine from Enjuku two weeks ago. Before they were gunmetal-colored.

I got mine from Summit Racing too. Cheapest price I could find. They don't charge for shipping, but does charge (only) like $8 if I remember correctly for handling. Ordered it on Monday and got to my house (in California) in less than a week. I'm very satisfied with mine.

According to Karmakaze's wiki post, the ST REAR BAR is actually SMALLER than the stock HICAS bar! For the thrifty, like me, wouldnt it be better to track down the somewhat hard-to-find hicas rear sway for dirt cheap and spend a couple bucks on some good endlinks?

For those also looking for best value, check this front sway bar out. I just ordered this for $53.99 shipped. (coupon code SAWBG06)http://www.jcwhitney.com/autop...08577

im running the ST sways on my s14 and it was the best bang for the buck i ever spent on my car. i got mine from enjuku over a year ago. i had a se sway bar on the rear before i installed these. i started with the rear bar first and took it for a spin. damn what a difference it made, but felt way too unbalanced as one would expect. i did this just to see the difference of adding the ST on the rear on ly was and what it would be like when i add the front. after i installed the front one and took it for a drive, WOW! i can actually feel my tires grabbing and making the car stick. felt perfectly balanced with the addition of the front bar. the car was alot more responsive with faster acting handling and more precise. i had d2 7/5 coilovers on while adding these. and i can say that adding just a rear ST sway bar is retarded. theyre made to compliment each other. both bars are almost twice as heavier than the stock ones. it doesnt matter about the thickness, what matters is its resistance to bending. .READ THIS!!!!another thing to look out for is when installing the rear. i dont know about the s13s or the newer model green ones, but my gunmetal s14 bar on the rear needed a spacer in addition to the one included in the kit to squeeze the bushings properly on the endlinks. at first i just stacked washers on top to get the bushings to squeeze. i autox'd quite often with them and could not figure out why the hell i was getting this nasty oversteer. i knew it shouldnt be happening as it seemed to out of the ordinary. it wasnt the typical oversteer. well i took it to this place to get an alignment and they end up telling me that my rear sway bar is hitting the lower control arms. i was like really it cant be. i get my car back and take a look at it and sure enough he was right. it instantly clicked in my head on how the oversteer problem was happening. it would cause my inside tire to always get light and to a small point come off the ground, but not literally just an example of what was happening. so i spaced the bar out where the ST spacer was too short to begin with. i took the stacked washers off the top and put a washer and a big lug nut in there to clear my control arms. took it for a drive and damn i fell in love. now it handles how it should. seems like a few people have encountered this problem with the rear. i dont know where they spaced it at to squeeze the bushings, but now you know to make sure you have plenty of clearance between your sway bar and lower control arms. yeah when i first installed the bar everything looked fine, so thats why i was like theres no way. now if i could get these damn coilovers to stop squeaking.

save ur money and first acquire a stock HICAS rear sway bar as it is thicker than the st rear. i got mine for fifty bux. this leaves u with xyz amt to spend on the front sway bar. im looking at the tanabe at the moment as its within my budget. adding just the rear HICAS bar tho will make a nite and day difference.
