ok so i fixed my problem with it almost dieing when i press the gas it was a very large boost leak i hope unless it goesaway and comes back every once in awile. now i have another issue i can drive the car but i cant go into boost it wont let me it sputters and everything i have a turboxs mbc and its set to stock 7 or 8 lbs right now when i try to get into boost it goes up to boost but wont actually kick in im wondering if i have a bad waste gate acuator? sorry i cant spell. if not that what else when i realy get on it and try to boost it shoots out black smoke that would mean its running rich but how would it be running rich if im getting full boost? could there still be somthing wrong in the wiring or the ecu i dont want to try somone elses ecu and burn it up if my wiring is ****ed up. somone help. iv checked everything plugs are gaped to .28 and the coils seem fine i can get to 5500 rpm but only if im not in boost. and 5500rpm is when a bad coilpack looses its efficeincy.sorry again if i cant spell. i need help i realy just want to boost around town coming home every day seeing a fmic on a s14 makes me fell hot inside and i want to drive it. realy bad

How high did you boost withOUT the MBC?? Could possibly be a bad wastegate assuming you have no more boost leaks, well very minimal amount.

ok so i repaced the coolant temp sensor from my 95 ka coolant temp sensor to a 91 sentra ser one i had layin around and the car actually drives a little better but sime still not sure which sensor to use on my 91 redtop sr everyone is saying diffrent i cant get a straight answer theres people saying use stock ka sesnor from a ka24e motor people say use the ka24de sensor some say the 300zx sensor some say the sr20de sensor all i want to know is what sensor to use on my 91 sr redtop they are saying use diffrent ones for diffrent years but some people say dont. anyways now that im done with that i tryied to use just a straight vacume line from the hot pipe to the wastegate instead of the mbc and i didnt make any boost. when i try to use my mbc i can drive the car out of boost but as soon as i hit the gas the car bucks and backfires like crazy. i checked boost leak up to 20psi so i think im good on the boost leak part. also the turbo has a **** load of compressor surge even when the greddy bov opens at 2,000rpm.

its in queens nyc I dont want to ship, but I could.

its failry complete, maybe minus a intake mani. the head has a blown valve, so I got it for free with my car. but otherwise, its fine, I was going to save it, and dump money at it.

its been a while since ive seen it, im in ga on my way home when i get there I can look at it. and give you a price are you in a hurry?

it wasnt just that. it was also 1 of the injector connectors was broken (wire starting to fall off) and the other reason was the coolant temp sensor was not wired correctly (my fault). but now im boostin past other sr's easy dont ask y cause other than running 15lbs of boost idk.
