ok the car starts and idles fine. its when i start to drive and push the gas its like the fuel cuts off and theres no power to move.a perfect example would be driving with the car on E (no gas). only i have plenty and it cuts off like there isnt any. when this happens i can push the throttle all the way and nothing happens no sounds no power nothing

this only happens once and a while and usually happens after i start the car back out the driveway drive to the corner, stop at the sign then go agian.....here it starts to happen maybe about 20-30 seconds after starting the car.

i just brought the cari check all my vaccum lines and im getting ready to get a oil change and new spark plugs

how much boost are you running? It sounds like either a TPS or MAFS issue, check the wiring and voltages for both.

You should try to check your (TPS throttle position sensor) and your maf and also check for any loose vacume hoses. Like stated above

ok guys, first off thank you for all the help!!the problem was that underneath the the throttle body there is suppose to be 2 nipples . one capped off and the other with a vaccum hose comming from the waste gate. in my case the second nipple fell off and the hose from the wastegate was plugged in to the top of the throttle body therefore major leak the lines were all plugged but just in the places leaving a hole( leak)>>>>>> tu

SOLUTION (for those who might experience this)i went to home depot in the plumming section and brought a little metal hose, crazy glue and gorilla gluei put crazy glue on the tip of the metal peice jammed it in then used gorrilla glue to seal around it, i plugged the hose from the waste gate right in and problem solved.no more of any of the problems listed!!!!!!!!thanks agian everyone!

Congrats on fixing the problem I forgot to stat this before but their is that one vacume hose on the bottom of the throttle body you have to plug up for the engine to run right, looks like you found it. When i did my SR swap i just put a piece of vacume hose on the nipple and screwd in a 10MM Bolt worked very well with no problems lol easiest fix ever.

i had that same stallin out problem when coming to a stop and idling high and it was because of the same vacume problem. the rubber cap had rotted out and was causing a leak from under the throttle body.

slideways^Jordan and silk240 THANKS the first time i fixed it with out lookin at that hose that is plugged ,it was the one next to it that was open for me with no nipple......i made my own nipple stuck it in there connected the line from the waste gate and the problems went away..............................................that was the other day................... yesterday and this morning it was messing up agian same problems as before only i could kinda drive it a little bit as long as i stayed under 2500 rpms=going nowhere

when i posted problem back i saw what u guys posted before me "TIGHTEN THE SCREW"so i did just that and we are GOOD TO GO.....hopefully this doesnt come back, i will be mad if it does and will probably have to just replace the whole throttle body or something majori know i sound repetitive but THANKS NICO

when you say "the screw" you mean the idle control valve screw. cause i adjusted that just a little to fix my stallin out problem awhile back. mine must have been out of cink or something. try that with yours if you havent already

by the "screw" i meant the screw used to cap off the nipple on the bottom of the throttle bodyQUESTION FOR THOSE WHO HAVE IT CAPPED OFFthe nipple on the left is capped and there is no nipple next to it??? where are u running ur lines?

you might have your vacume lines on wrong which could cause rough idle that could be a factor make sure their all runnin right were they need to go.

If you can it would be eaiser to take some pics for us so we can help you better.

if all else fails you might have a bad fuel pressure regulator (FPR)

i defefinetly have it wired/ hooked up right, atleast now i do . the problem now is that when i start it up cold i have the idling problems and the fuel cutting off problem. if it extremely hot outside and its sitting out side it runs fine..................

today i went to formula D in the morning it started up and ran fine and i went to forumla D at around 1-2ish when it was over at around 7:30ish i started it in the lot and the problems arrived......the lines to get out where crazy so after inching little by little by the time i got to the exit to leave it was running fine, must have been a good 10minutes of inching...... so im guessing the temp has something to do wit it when the engine is cold it revs high and fuel cuts off after a while( 10 minutes) the idle drops and it works normal....i just recently fixed the lines so now its running like this less but i guess when its cold it does this??

when the problem is happening i can only push the petal a tiny bit so im thinkin if too much air comes in the the fuel cuts off would that be the TPS?
