i believe bkr6e is the stock plug, most ppl go for a step colder when they up the boost.like a bkr7e,or a bkr7e-ix if you want iridiums.

NGK Iridium 7 or 8 plugs work great.

Bkr7e (copper)part # 6097

All you have to do is go to Advance Auto Parts and tell them whichever NGK Plug code (BKR7E, BKR6E, BKR7EIX-11, ETC) and they will cross it for a stocking #, in this case BKR7E = 6097.

As stated above stock plug bkr6e, step colder bkr7e. Iridium adds the IX at the end of NGK plug code, and the -11 at the end has to do with the gap.

as per recommendations from both XAT and Enjuku, i use the heat range 6 at 12psi. Enjuku says only use Iridiums, XAT says only use coppers. i saw from a chemistry standpoint that iridium is far better at dissipating heat and therefore should be used whenever possible. the downside is that you can't gap them, but they really don't need gapping. as i said i'm running 12psi stock turbo and certainly no signs of the BKR6E-IX being too hot or gapped to far open.

depends on how much boost you're running and how well it's tuned, but boost makes the biggest difference. and if you're not over 12psi you probably should be running the heat range 6 for better performance off of max. pressure.

-BUMP-

Swapped 'em in today

After 3 test runs @ 14lbs

Works for me!

P.S

Factory gap is around .028 which works fine!

I am running a CA w/ a T3/T4 .50 on 10lbs w/ Stock Maf, 450cc injectors and a Mines ECU.

I put in the BKR7E's. Should I keep the gap at .28-.32?
