yep. the maf is plugged in.overall... the swap has been sitting for a year now.

another thing i do realize is that every time i rev the engine. i smell gas.could this be another issue as well?i'm going to replace the fpr and check the injectors.

Could be your hose. I was smelling gas for about a month and a half and I ended up finding out my hose was cracked. It was the small hose that runs on top of the intake runners, right next to the PVC valve. That little hose is no longer than 3" and looked fine but under pressure was causing me to leak fuel. So check all your fuel lines.
