So heres the deal, I just recently replaced the sr20det in my 240, upon first start up everything was fine, the engine ran smooth and idle high as normal, i started the engine serveral times checking for leaks and had no problems, and i took it for a test drive, brand new clutch and pressure plate, no problems. when i pulled back in the driveway it started idleing funny, and got worse and worse, to the point it wouldnt run hardly at all, almost like the timing had jumped a tooth but it hadnt. I took it for another test drive and the clutch pedal was shaking badly when depressed at all, i checked the slave cylinder and thats not it, the whole entire fork shakes, like the flywheel is loose or somin. So not only does my engine run like crap, but i dont know wats wrong wit my clutch/flywheel/or throwout bearing. Any suggestions on wat may be wrong? Iv been workin on Sr's for 2 years and have never seen this.

Iv double checked all wiring connections and everything seems fine, MAF wires are ok, coil packs and wires are ok.

have you checked for boost/vacuum leaks? How is the MAFs voltage. What do the spark plugs look like? What brand clutch and flywheel are you using, and what did you torque the bolts to?

sounds like you may be running on only three cly start it up and un hook one coilpack at a time.. if you unhook one and it dosnt make a differents in the idle that cly isnt firing for some reason
