First off my mods are:

blk top sr20det s13 with a 255 walbro fuel pump, 300zx tt fuel filter,3 inch cat back exhaust with no cat.. and thats all for mods now for my little problem:

My car does not like to pick up until 3500rpm and when i push the gas pedal all the way to the floor it takes a long time to get to 3 and then after 3 i can sit there and rev it and it revs fine. it just has really bad lag from idle to 3000rpm.i checked the timing and the timing is at 15deg. and idle, and checked the teeth on the timing chain and its checks out good.i tried different maf sensors and still the same thing.changed ecu and the same thing....this is just getting really irratating. so pleae help..any advice would be great!! thanks

any ecu codes? try cleaning your mafs, check for boost or vacuum leaks, check your fuel pressure, also, check your turbo, make sure there is little or no shaft play, and make sure it spins freely. Pull your spark plugs, what do they look like.

today i disconnected my battery because i heard that the idle problem may be caused by a low charged battery so when i disconnected it i found out that the other battery i was going to hook up was to big to put in so i had to put my old one back in and when i started it to make sure it was good the idle problem went away so i think it was that the ECU reset !

after that it ran great !
