I just bough a 95 240sx with a sr20 swap. I was looking over the engine and noticed that one of the hose connections on the back right of the engine didn't have anything connected to it.What does this connect to or is it unnecessary in a 240.

Thanks for the helpJeremy

Not a good pic at all. I can barely see that its the exhaust side. Get a better pic. But I believe its the hose coming from the valve cover's tee. If so that needs to be hooked up to the catch can.

i agree you need a better pic at least in the daytime

that may be a piece of hardline for the heater core the original owner didnt take off the block like they should have, the jdm heater core is on our driver side so you cant use those hardlines. It might not me conected to anything on the other side either if so its for the heater hoses

Most likely not used.

I can tell you right now, that has nothing to do with the stock catch can.

If you click on the picture it gets bigger and a lot easier to see. Could someone look at their sr20 swap and see where it goes to?

That looks like a heater hose pipe.

It would be very useful to see the other end of the hose

I was looking at the other side of the engine and saw that it turns out to be just a random pipe with nothing attatched to either end. The mystery continues. DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNN
