the holset uses a T3 twin scroll manifold buy a t3 top mount manifold - and you should be straight.

if you can avoid it, dont buy a holset. its not a garaunteed fit.

i know i'll have a lot of lag, i've been looking for some exaust housing for the holset, the one that the dsm uses, and with that you'll have full boost to 3500 , but with this housing the turbo wont be twin scroll anymore

um... i might know of a few places that could sell you the housing... but im too tired to look right now shop around and call some people up - ask them if they ship internationally and there is nothing you cant have.

ok, let me say it - they are better then the competitors. but I am not going to try and proove it to you, because as long as people keep waving the garrett flag,

the borg warner and holset flag stays tucked low and out of site.affordable, more reliable, easier to rebuild and infinite durability.

these turbos were made for trucks seeing 500,000 miles.and they'll boost the hell out of a 4 cylinder.

but the only challenge is research and some custom fabrication. I am reading up on holset flow rates right now

Im not waiving any flag, i just dont by into the BS that people say without having actual proof to back it up. To me a turbo is a turbo. I dont care what manufacturer it is as long as its proven reliable and makes the power. But when you people come on here saying ones better than the others and cant prove it then im gonna call BS.

ok it doesnt matter to me what you believe.

they are great turbos, they give a lot of boost, they're inexpensive, and durable.

Could you use a Holset like this one with the internal gate and a Boost controller?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...23503&

Im confused on why people are welding up the internal wastegates.

these actuators are set for a higher PSI then what sr20's use. a boost controller/a smaller actuator/or an external wastegate - and it should work fine.

If the turbine A/R is 12cm^2 ( .64 a/r - similiar to a gt28rs or gt2871r. ) it will work well with an SR20get the model number, find a compressor map, and call holset to ask questions.
