Well lately mr SR has had issues with starting..and it seems to be getting worse and worse..this usually occurs when i havent started the car for maybe half a day to a day...and one thing that helps..is when i start it..leave the key in the on position first..and let the fuel pump run and once i hear it stop..i crank the motor..and it seems to fire up allot quicker then before..would this have anything to do with not having a proper working o2 sensor? lol cuz i am running quite rich at the moment..would that contaminate the spark plugs with gas or anything and make it harder to get a spark?..im thinking take the plugs out and give them all a good wipe downm and clean them up that would help..but would it? lol..my o2 sensor plug got melted which is why it dosent work ATM..im gonna re-wire the wires on my 02 tonight without using hte plug..hopefuly it will do something but this is just a wild guess for me lol..anybod have any better suggestions?

I have this same problem when I run ethanol, it gets real cranky about starting when its below 32 degrees,

Id say get your o2 fixed, ASAP

when you turn the key and hear the fuel pump kick on wait until it stops period. my car did that too and it wasnt getting fuel because i didnt wait for it to give it to the motor.

your gonna definately want to get that 02 sensor fixed because yes when running rich your spark plugs will foul up possibly causing harder starting conditions. also not everybody has to wait for the fuel pump to start priming perhaps yours is weak..are you on the stock one or a walbro
