I'm currently up to my *** in SR wiring.

Here's what I'm doing... I bought a SR with a cut harness and no igniter chip thinking I'd be able to get family in Japan to find them easily... apparently not! So rather than spend $4-500 on a harness I decided to try and make one out of the stock KA24E harness, and the cut part from the SR20DET. I searched everywhere for S13 ESSC wiring diagram, and asked on a few forums. I have the S13 ECCS pinout from nismo.org, and someone sent me a 1 page diagram that originated from JWT a few years ago. It has been a great help, but isn't as complete as the 4 page fold out diagram I have from the FSM for my KA. I also have the ECCS diagram found at http://sr20det.nismo.org/srtech.htm but this is not correct for my S13 redtop. My guess is that this is for a S14 (called 200SX in Australia?).

So where am I? I'm about 20 hours in, I've got the whole KA engine harness stripped and on a board. I've got the 1/2 SR harness "mostly" spliced in. I've got all the pins removed from the 64 pin ECU connector and labeled. I've got about 40 wires traced, labeled and ready to got back into the ECU connector. I know I need to run 4 wires from the ECU to the igniter chip, and 4 wires from the coils to the igniter chip. That leaves about 8 wires that I'm not sure about! The only one I can remember is a blue/red wire from the 4 pin ACC (and something) plug (next to the knock sensor plug). Does anyone know what this wire is, and where it goes?

Does anyone have the S13 ECCS 4 page fold out wiring diagram that they could fax to me? I don't care if it's in Japanese, my wife is Japanese and is a technical translator!

Also , does anyone know the style of plugs for the igniter chip? Anyone know where else these plugs are used? Anywhere on a KA harness? Anyone have these plugs "spare"?

Thanks...Martin.

I already have that, I believe the ECCS diagram that is linked to that page is for a S14 because it doesn't match up to what I have on my S13.

Thanks...Martin.

silvia australia only has the s13 owner's manual (nothing but how to drive the car and use it lol), the s13 CA18DET manual, and the S14 SR20DET manual.

Yep, been there, done that. The service manual is for the CA18, the S13 manual is just the owners manual, and the ECCS diagram is for an S14 I believe. It would appear that the S13 FSM has never been translated to English, but for schematics Japanese is fine by me!

Anyone have a Japanese S13 FSM they want to sell?

Damn man...you need to like...um...READ, again and again about this whole thread and the zilvia.net download page...

Let me get this straight, Martin was asking for the S13 SR ECCS, not S13 CA or whatever the hell Zilvia.net provided. Read this whole post again teggy.

Please read your own post again. Tell me, am I supposed to read your mind because you are doing s14sr into s14? Your statement clearly said that...you found s14sr diagrams, and you wanted it. THat's what you said. I can't read your mind you know?

Anyways, try talking to Mack at Mckinney motorsports. He will try to help you out more than if you would talk to people on NICO or DAUNT.

Ok, i was assuming you guys already new the obvious.... I know there are diagrams, just so everyone can understand...

I was just wondering if there was a site like this:

http://sr20.hybrids.jp/installations/s1 ... o_s14.html

but for s14 into s14. thats all i was talking about.

I know it would be a luxury, but I thought maybe the sites that the other person found might have been something close. I know I can make the harness by what is in the FSM alone, Iwas just wondering if there was a site like the s13 to s14 one above that would save lot of time..

Im just going to use the fsm (full of errors, thus the whole purpose of my original post) , must forgive me for talking with out explanation, i was assuming that you knew I KNEW what was in the FSM already...

omg teggy...you are one stubborn kid. The reason I said that you need to read again because everyone have been saying about the damn diagrams. The original post was about how to install s13sr into s13. Just like Fibercus just said above. Everyone knows where to get the diagram...plus, the diagram in the zilvia.net is not for S13 SR anyways. Have you downloaded it and looked at it 94teggy? It's basically somewhat the same as SR20DET S13, but it's design for S13 CA18DET. No one knows where to get the S13 SR20DET FSM on the internet. Now do you get it?

Added: Have you seen the wiring diagrams? It would take him days and night to figure out which wire is which. I wish there is a site like sr20hybrid.jp but for s13sr into s13. It would be soo much easier than reading the diagrams. Trust me, if you look at the diagram, you would quit.

My post wasn't directed to you I was trying to show the post starter where he could get the ECCS info but some people just don' look at a whole page before they speak.

For you the best thing I can recommend is to keep an eye on this site... http://sr20store.com/wiring.htm . He did a S24 into a S13( i know that's not what you're asking) but he's working on wiring diagrams so he may put up a S14->S14.

Good Luck man,-Jon-

Well all you had to do was give a simple "no that's not what he's looking for" or said what you said in that other post instead of treating me like a kid and asking me if I can read.

Oh BTW how do you know that it's for the CA. I just looked at all the images in that zip folder and nowhere does it say anything about the CA all it says is Nissan 200SX S13

Well, did you undestand what the images were? If you were in Martin's place, would you try to connect the harness by looking at the diagrams???

Not really because I'm not good with really complicated wiring but it said it was the ECCS wiring which is what I thought he was looking for. Isn't that the wiring harness for the whole car?
