I actually have two issues. When I shift to neutral and let the rpms drop my car stalls at any speed. It only happens when the car is completely warmed up.

The other issue I am having happens when accelerating. Only when I floor it the car comes to a halt, the RPMS drop even if I have the accelerator pushed down, and it sounds like the WGA is decompressing. I tried swapping out the stock actuator for an HKS, but that did not change anything. I am not sure if this is related to my stalling problem. It seems like the ECU cuts off the engine, but it does not stall in this situation.

I have changed out a huge list of parts and sensors. I actually took it to a shop a few months ago when I was having a problem in which my car was spuddering under boost. They isolated a problem to a bad coilpack that I replaced. This time I am having different symptoms as I described above. I am not sure if other coilpacks are on the verge of failing.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure there has been some people with this issue before. Can someone help a brother out?

When I first had installed the engine 3500 miles ago I didn't have this problem. I have had the HKS BOV since day one. I can't see that being an issue but I suppose anything is worth a try.

Do you have any ideas what may be causing my boost or fuel cut? I am only boosting 7 PSI so I am not sure why the ECU is shutting down the engine when under heavy load.

Have you pressurized the system to check for a boost leak? What does your entire setup consist of?

I checked the hose that connects from the egr pipe to the valve cover and it was melted and appeared to have some small holes. I removed it completely and drove around briefly without it and it appeared to make a difference. I'm not sure how this would make a difference for the better. I thought my car would run worse but apparently it wasn't the case. This isn't my daily driver so I'm going to drive it to work tomorrow and see what happens during a longer drive. Unless someone recommends me not to with a disconnected hose to the egr. Can someone explain to me what this hose is for and the importance? Will it create driveablity issues similiar to what I am having?

Thanks for the response.

there is no EGR on the SR engine, especially not on the valve cover, you must be talking about the PCV, if the PCV line is leaking, you have a vacuum leak, fix the leak and the car should be fine.
