Dude, there's an easier way. Talk to the guy who's selling you stuff at the parts counter. They're people too. Ask for their name, and whatever else. Go back once in a while and they'll get to know you and it works very well at building a relationship with the parts counter and is very beneficial to you. I do that all the time at the dealerships I go to. I used to go to two local dealerships and that was more than enough to get me whatever I wanted at near-dealer price.

All our Nissan/Infiniti sponsors offer actual wholesale prices (sometimes less) to NICO members. For years the Nico Infiniti folks have been getting that with Scottsdale aka everythinginfiniti.com, a sponsor now.

Other places:

Pinnacle:http://www.nissanparts.org/

Trophy Nissan:http://www.nissanwholesaleparts.com/

Midway:http://www.midwaypartsteam.com/

Call if you cant find what you need sometiems older years ( like our 240's arent listed but they carry the parts and the same disount applies.

Always better than your local guy.

Fred...:D

Nissan probably doesn't make their own filters. So going with OEM most likely has no benefit.

The filter from a 2000 Volkswagen Passat 1.8 DOHC AEB FI Turbo oil filter is supposed to fit as well as being a lot bigger overall. Here's the link http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....assat

that's an interesting find...dunno bout using a filter not spec'ed for the sr though, I'm terrified of an oil leak an oil deprivation for the engine.

$8 a plug is insane!! I pay like $1.50 for mine...no need to go platinum. Copper is a better material. No, it doesn't last as long, but you can replace them 5 times for the same price.

Not to mention you're probably getting the wrong heat range.

What's the advantage?

nope my heat range is 6 and they are STOCK SR20DET plugs from japan. Had to wait 2 weeks for my box to come in with the plugs and oil filters.
