I can get the entire rail picked up for $70they will bolt onto my KA right?im leaking two injectors and brand new they go for $90 a piece @ vatozone

these are the 370cc will this be a decent upgrade if i plan KA-T with a T25/T28?

btw what are stock KA injector sizes?

is it safe to run KA-T with a stock ecu?

i knwo the injectors fit right into your ka fuel rail. yes it will be agood option if you run mild boost, those injectors max out around 12-13 psi so after that they are no good

no you will need a tune on it ro run safely... ka-t is all about tuning man

fuel rail will not bolt up. But the injectors are the same size and just swap right out. Pop out the ka injectors, pop the sr ones in.

factory ka injectors are 270cc, and supposedly can handle up to 7 lbs of boost with a rising rate FPR.

as far as factory ecu... that's debatable. because it's a maf system it can account for low boost, but your going to need to be able to tune to get the sr injectors to idle right anyways.

is this a known proven fact or are you just saying that it might be this problem

i only want to run a few pounds of boost

i doubt im going to break 200hpjust a bit to get the car a bit quicker

i found a sick deal on sr injectors and t25this person ran it with no tune and said it ran perfect so.....

if anyones got any experience please chime in

i'm really not positive if it would be a problem or not. Here's my reasoning, the factory system is calibrated to idle at a certain air fuel ratio. You pop in injectors that flow 1/3 more. Now it's going to TRY to account for that and lean the mixture, but i'm really not sure of what the factory ecu is capable of tuning for. so i'm fairly sure that it would run richer then normal at idle and cruise, UNLESS the factory system has a broad enough range of control to account for that. If it can it'll take a while and fix the tune with the 02 sensor feedback.

If the guy who said it ran fine with no tune is trustworthy then sure. give it a shot, if you have a wideband or some other way to monitor the fuel ratio, it might be good just to see what it's doing.

its just a acquittance so i dont know but yea thanksif i dont push more then 7-9 pounds i think i should be alrite

i couldnt swap in a larger MAF or o2 sensor to make the ecu compensate for this though can i?

i read somewhere on here that you can run an n60 maf with sr injectors and because of the signal difference from the maf it will account "perfectly" for the injector difference.

30% bigger maf + 30% bigger injectors somehow registers right with the ecu.idk, if i stumble across the thread i'll link it up for you.

N60 is off the maxima/VQ30 right??

u mean just simply replace my MAF with the N60 and that equates the perfect ratio for the ecu???

yup that's the right engines.

here's two threads that mention this.zerothread/266575http://forums.nicoclub ... ead/287339

according to what is said there it should be fine. like i said before if you have some way to verify the proper a/f ration it would be good for peace of mind.

if you search around some more you may find more information.

Therefore they cancel each other out and work very well together (in theory + a few first hand accounts)

Some say this setup leans out under boost, so an adjustable FPR could be used to up base fuel pressure.
so a maxima MAF spliced on and my 370cc's should work fine it seems. sweet. I can run the turbo with no tuning then, since its a DD and wont push more then 8 pounds since the motors hitting 160K

what else would i need to complete this setup?

seto didn't want to leave you in the dark. So i hunted down some more info from ka-t.org

http://www.ka-t.org/forums/vie...++370h ... ie...++370

The guys running that setup just used a wideband to monitor the A/F and a SAFC to lean the idle a bit.

Hope this helps

fyi you'll still spew lots of black **** with an n60. there is no way the afl maps on the n60 and whatever ka24de maf are exactly the same. doesnt work all that well, just get an safc with knobs for like 60 to 70 if on a budget. Injectors will not provide any power increase whatsoever also. I've been there btw.

needed sr smic and piping, a bov other than stock cuz they all leak, sr dp sr elbow pipe, t-2 series manifold, -3 an oil line at least 4 feet, oil restrictor, oil sandwich plate, oil drain line and fitting for tapping the oil pan, some sort of primitive tuning safc knobs, a wideband, knock timing back half a degree for every lb of boost, oh and a boost gauge.

if you really need injectors, go rip some out of an altima at a junkyard.

and 270s don max at 7lbs the amount of boost is realtive. in theory they max at around 215hp to 217hp so safeish at 200hp. same goes for 370s around 295 so say 280hp.

yes...obviously

the MAF is bigger...it reads higher amount of air in a 1-100% rate...the % is bigger...the ecu is still only thinking say 30 percent...tht 30% is now bigger...same with injectors...the percentage is still 30%..but the amount pumped in...is more
