Hey whats up guys i got an 08 2.5 altima coupe and was wondering if i should run either the eibach pro-kit lowering springs or the eibach sportsline springs or jus go the extra mile and spend like a grand on BC coilovers? Also if anyone currently has these springs installed on their altimas or previously had them installed let me get some feedback on how they looked and how smooth the ride was on the car.. Thanks Guys!

If your looking to slam your car or eliminate wheel gap I'd go with bc coilovers or any coilovers. But if your looking to lower, then get a eibach pro kit

Get Teins for a lower drop, unless you want a lower front.

I've had my Eibachs for about 2 months now. Loving it Just want I need. Dont expect handling to be insanely better or anything though.

About an 1.4'' front and 1'' in back. It gets pretty low in the back especially

Its not the best looking photo and mind you im on 18'' wrapped in 245/45/18

Image

I like it becase even though its not crazy low to the ground, its low enough for my tastes and to eliminate most of the gap

big factor is the condition of roads you drive on. the roads here are awful and after driving on coils for 6 months i grew to hate driving my car, so the coils had to go. They were BCs and i hated them. Will be getting a prokit hopefully for this season

The problem I have with spring kits (Eibach, H&R, Tien) is that ALL of them give the car "reverse rake."

Even though most drops are 1.5in front and only 1in in the rear, it's not nearly enough... The front wheel gap is ALWAYS larger than the rear.

The only way to get proper level fitment, or forward rake, is coil overs or some kind of springs in front, OEM in the rear setup.

how much was it for you guys to get the springs installed? also did you guys have to go to a special garage to get them installed or could you go to like a regular mechanic to do it?

Any regular mechanic should be able to do it. $150-180 is the range for installing springs.

I'm telling you right now, you won't be satisfied with the drop. You can find coilovers for as cheap as $800 now. $200 springs + $150 labor, that's $350. Just save $500, get coils and adjust your height all you want. And you won't have to pay for installation labor twice.

Of course you can find some local folks offering to lower springs on craigslist. I did mine for $80. Make sure they are reputable
