Fender rolls usually run about $50/fender and regardless of whether you do springs or coils you'll need an alignment since you will have messed with key components of the suspension. The ride quality will be a bit bumpier depending on how soft or stiff you set the coils to be. Other than that Mike really hit the nail on the head, nice straight to the point write up dude!mikethemike wrote:Heres the difference between the two. they both vary with some people, but generally these are the difference.
Springs - cheaper, eliminate some of the wheel gap, provides little improvement in handling, will still maintain a smooth ride and will wear your struts but in a very long time with alot of hard miles on it.
Coils - much more expensive, many brands to choose from for both 2.5 and 3.5, improve the handling AND looks of the car by far, you can control the drop, you won't worry about changing struts since its replaced within the coilovers and you'll have a very stiff and bumpy ride (so I've heard).
Keep in mind with coilovers, depending on if you want to slam it with bigger wheels, you'll need to roll your fenders which I've seen done for like $60 off local shops. You'll also probably need a alignment too, as you will with springs.
