I liked the movie, It did answer alot of questions but also brought up more new ones and maybe we just missed why he was able to carry over the powers from the matrix into the real world. But as far as the peace that was made with the machines, this part I don't get. At first the machines used solar power as fuel, but the humans scorching the sky and blocking out the sun made them resort to use an alternative for power, humans. Now that there is a peace what will the machines use for fuel?

As far as the trilogy of LOTR, it's too childish for me, the stupid "smeagle" with the split personality, and also we all know who is going to win so no real point of going to see it unless you want eye candy and the experiance of seeing it in the theater, i'll just wait for the rental unless my GF makes me go see it. While on the topic of trilogies, we should mention Harry Potter. Cmon who loves Harry!??

Not everyone is going to be unplugged from the matrix, and that is how the machines will survive. Like the bald headed guy from the first matrix, he wanted to be replugged back in, and other people can't hanlde being unplugged due to either age or unwillingness to believe the truth.

The peace is the end of the cycle, and in time there will be war again, and zion will be rebuilt and another anomoly created "Neo". The cycle is restarting.

Here's what i could gather.

- The machine face guy, i'm guessing is the main brain of it all, gave peace so that the matrix could be stable and not risk losing so many potential people they were using for power.

- The little Indian girl is the new Neo (they call her the last exile)

- The machine also let him in to use him to reset the matrix.

i guess. I dont know, there are places where psycho kids talk about it all on the internet, go there if youre into the religious symbolism. I liked it, and especially the line "The purpose of life is to end."

I dunno about the little Indian Girl being the new Neo, it seems a bit early for a new one but maybe. She's also a program and in theory, Neo is human (although there are theories to the contrary, I believe we can toss them out after seeing Revolutions). I too wonder about how the machines will keep surviving because I understood that everyone would be freed. You should remember also that it was said in the first Matrix that the machines used an advanced form of fusion AND the humans for fuel. If the machines merely cut back their operations to a level that could be sustained by the fusion or whatever then there could be an equilibrium/peace reached. It's the drive to keep growing that has kept the war still going.

Give me a break. Unless you've read the books I guarantee that there are surprises in store for you in the final movie. You honestly have absolutely no idea how good it's going to be. And if by too childish you mean that you don't have a creative enough imagination to suspend disbelief for 3 hours, I guess I understand. Honestly, everyone should see it. Pete Jackson will not disappoint like the W brothers did. And they did BIG TIME. Everyone is pissed at this movie and you'll see that from the 2nd week drop-off stats.

Nick

P.S. Return of the King is the one movie to rule them all. :D

If you notice-- When you are seeing what Neo sees after he got blinded by the human Smith (the Orange-looking visuals).... After he 'Died' from being hacked into by Smith, then deleted... When he is getting taken away on the floatng platform- it goes to the orange-looking view again, and its really bright coming from where his corpse was as if he were still alive- which still bothers me. But it may just be me. Not sure.-Kev

I just associated that with the "power" of the ruler of the Machine City, he was super bright when Neo saw him too. Although I'm certain he does have the ability to rise again, that's obvious from the Oracle's comment at the end as well as the strong Christian overtones.

Even though- I doubt highly there will be a 4th, or even a spin off. Sorta dissapointing, but then again, another movie would be pushing it... But done right it could be great. Who knows.

I would have prefered a nested matrix ending. Like when Neo knocks down the squiddy he exited the "real" matrix. I remember in the first one smith talks about 3 matricies. 1 was perfect 2 was based on our history and the third was full of strife and turmoil.

For explination purposes i will speak like it's real it makes it easier. The first matrix would be something like dreams where everything is perfect. The second as smith says is based on humanity's history. The time surrounding the turn of the millineum is history in the matrix universe. So we live in the second matrix. The third he speaks of is the one where there is massive turmoil and strife. Sounds like Squids VS Zion humans to me. Neo should have "woken up" from the zion matrix.

Right at the end of the fight with smith he should have been like "Oah and smith... I know" smith would freak out and try to kill him and he would just get beat up. Then he would wake up and go over to the big reset button and push it...

OK i saw it again to give it another chance... i want to like it so bad. It was better this time but the bad scenes still stick out. Smith laughing like a mad scientist, The MPU commander's death scene and trinities death scene were all way way too long.

And in the elevator to the marrovingians place the button is the red one that stops the elivator in an emergency. The "P" in help is scratches out and made to sotrof look like another L
