speed
how fast are these cars, from the factory. my sisters boyfriend has a 97 integra and i want this car to be faster and quicker than his. is it possible? my vg30e truck can outrun his car to about 75 then my gearing ( being a truck ) kills me, i stop at 105 or so and he creeps by me to about 115

it is NOT the same thing. engine B18/B16 may be similar, but the power curves are very different. integras, esspcially the GS-R and type-R(no, not the LS's with type-R stickers...heh.) had a lot more powe than the civics of the same year, evne the Si.
for example the RSX(integra replacement) and the Civic Si...same chasis, two differerent HP outputs. RSX: 200, SI: 160.

Ummm I hate to pop your little bubble of Honda hating, but you have to be pretty dim to say a double wishbone equiped Honda has "bad suspension". I would assume that you think an ITR has sh!tty handling? Don't s*** on a car because it isn't a "your model of car here" especialy when it isn't a bad car. It just makes you look dumb. s'all :sleep

ceptos i dont know what article you have been reading (someones homepage prolly) But tegs have extremely good handling for fwds... i have seen many sites that rate it above the 240. lack of torque? how about lack of displacement, and ot intake vacuum at low RPM.....(Type-R's also had a little less displacement than their GS-R coutnerparts if I remeber correctly)
theres your reasons..... and Teg's dont really handle better than 240sx's. this is from racing more than my share for lap times at auto crosses(with similar mods...no suspension stuff...just strut bars or nothing at all)
