top speed of my 91' 240 auto has been around 135MPH.. the transmission was rebuilt and im almost positve that the speed limiter was taken out.. dont quote me tho.. also if u have speed limiter installed then it will only go about 115.

yeah what happened to all those posts.....i wanted to see the whole showdown.

anyways that's some nasty stuff Lost! i knew i shouldn't have clicked those damn links but curiousity was killing me.

Yeah i top out at 115. damn the speed limiter! not as if i would ever drive at those speeds except for closed couses (heh, lost)

I'm 28....and???

so 135 in an auto or 115 if i have a speed limiter... without trying how do i tell if i have a speed limiter
