Speed bump from HELL!

That sucks Adrian. Have you surveyed the damage yet? I'd be pissed too. I know your car is low, but having it get stuck, that lets me know that the "bump" is way too freaking tall. I agree with going to Walmart and the local municipality to see about having it shaved down or replaced.

but I think my biggest pet peeve is when you slow down for a dip/ bump, and the car behind you honks. ugh! thus the reason why I went for it... so the car behind me doesn't honk at me. little did I know I'd be literally stuck in my predicament

Yeah, my frame rails are in pretty good shape luckily (except for the connecting ones for the front rails to the rear sub-frame, don't use a jack there ) I love when I see an SUV or truck pull into a driveway, parking lot, etc. where the road dips for water run-off and they ease up real slow as though they are going to break the truck/SUV from a little fricking dip, but yeah, as soon as I slow down for a speed bump, they a riding my butt like it's a big deal and I'm going to make them late or something if I don't hit the speed bump at 40. It's really aggravating. /rant

hahahah, if someone is in a hurry behind me I usually go really slow over the speed bump. Maybe pretend to get my back wheel caught on the speed bump, sling a lil rubber onto their front bumper if they're reallly damn close. Some people are so touchy. I love having a fully loaded car with 4 passangers, I usually scrape without ppl in the car, so I always make em get out. Pretty funny to see people get out of a car to go over a speed bump then get back in.
