Why is that?

'1der, it really sucks when you try to program a VCR when you don't have the remote. They make it so that you can only do a few things with the buttons on the VCR itself, all the rest of them are on the remote

dvd players are much worse...

I miss the old vcr's that had the flip down control panel with everything you need...these also had manual tracking.

i had a mitsubishi vcr

actually i still do, its my dads from like 1973

we just dont use it anymore
