I've searched & found tons of info about injectors and I still can't find the answers to these questions.

I am looking for easy fit 460cc injectors for my SOHC.

Which injectors are the easiest to find and fit?

If I need to use resistors, what do I need and where can I find it?

I used 88 RX7 injectors, wired resistors and had them cleaned and flow benched by witchhunterperformance.com all for around 175 bucks. Get the injectors from Ebay and an injectors box from a CRX (or other honda)

You mean the 87 RX-7? I think the 88 are high impedance and I'm not sure if they fit.

You say any Honda will have the right resistor box? Do you simply splice in line?

hey i have a set of fully clean, flow tested, ohm check, balanced rx-7 550cc injectors. They are high impedence so no resistors needed and they are a direct fit into the KAE fuel rail.

i had them on my kaE-t for 1200 miles and controlled them with a safc II. i'll give them to you for 175.00 shipped. i am open to offers cause i need to sell them.

Thanks but I don't want to go too big on account of it might make my ECU advance the timing when used with the Emanage.

Yes, I meant 87 Rx-7. It was early when I posted that

Here is the injector box you need to run low imp. injectors. (cheap) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW There is a thread on the forum somewhere about how to install them. IT is really easy though if you can solder.

Imagine that it is in the sticky Fiz used a DSM box but they work the same zerothread?id=119383

Sweet. But you got me thinking - perhaps I should pull the box and injectors from a junkyard DSM. That way the injectors will be a little younger.

What should I look for if I go that route?

I don't think the age of the injectors really matter if you are going to have them cleaned and tested. They basically rebuild them and they are good as new. Look at the inje tor spread sheet in the Sticky to see what DSM's will work

Do all the injectors in the sticky fit easily into our motors?

I assume top feed for SOHC and side feed for DOHC?

I just searched a little and found that the DSM injectors require boaring of the fuel rails.

I think it's back to the RX-7s

The 88 are high impedance - anyone know if they fit the SOHC?

has anyone ever tried or looked into Accel Injectors on a Sohc. i would imagine that they are much like msd injectors which require drilling out the fuel rail.

I have seen lots of problems with accel injectors I would stay away from them.Msd injectors drop right in no drilling anything.

yes i would also love to know about the msd injectors in the ka-e rail that drop right in. as for the '88 Rx7 Injectors (N/a b/c i know the turbo ones are different) are they straight drop in and go or do you have to do anything. my brother is rebuilding his rx into a high compression turbo 13b and he was going to chuck his injectors.

I have msd#2064 they are the 72lb injectors and I didnt have to machine anything. I just put them right in. Ive had them for a couple years with no problems. Any number from msd that starts with 206* should fit a sohc rail with out problems.

its cool. so you say anything with a 206 ( looks like the beging to all their "universal" injectors) in the front with fit the sohc fuel rail. Summit racing sells msd injectors that start with a 206 and ar 12 ohm.

Does anyone know if the projectnissan.com fuel rail will require boreing when used with GSX DSM injectors?I just got a set, and it looks like there is alot of work that needs to be done to make these work. If I have to bore out an aftermarket fuel rail and get an aftermarket FPR and get a resistor box, I think I might just have to sell these.
