Wrong way to look at it. Republicans had, two weeks ago, a three-seat majority in the Wisconsin Senate. Now they've lost two seats. I've been amused over the past week at the ability of Republicans to spin the fact that they lost two seats into a win.

Here's a better way to look at the numbers, given that they were fighting to continue doing their job:
Democratic seats lost to recall - 0
Republican seats lost to recall - 2

Republicans went from being able to afford up to two defections on any given vote. Now they are afforded none. Every republican, especially the moderate ones, needs to agree on a piece of legislature before it gets to Gov. Walker's desk. This is undisputedly a win for Democrats.
