Thats Corral Canyon OHV area, about 45 miles east of San Diego. It was my first time exploring there, and although the loop I wanted to do was closed, there are hundreds of miles of trails to explore. The trail I did is very stock vehicle friendly (when dry) but would probably be considered "moderate" in the rain.

If it ever rains here, i'll be the first to go there. Hopefully it will rain this winter, last winter was like two days of rain which was a serious waste of my mud tires. and haha no i've never rolled it. I came close on this shot though, I even thought it was going to tip. A good solid push to the side would have flopped it.

Nice! I gotta check that out.

Maybe I'll have to get "sick" sometime this month and head out there

Oh yeah i've got the balls. Ive damn nearly trashed my QX4 but it still drives like a luxury vehicle. Heres a pic when I collapsed the suspension on one corner

zerothread?id=234858 I've had all four wheels off the ground (simultaneously) in Baja several times, and been stuck in some VERY sticky/crazy situations before. I've also had the QX4 searched by police four times, 1 DUI in front of my house in it, one attempted theft on it, and a lot more crazy stuff that probably isn't appropriate to post on the internet.

Oh hell, it's the same as a pathfinder. . I launch mine in the air. . I'm not nice to it. .

and like fueler says, thing still drives perfectly fine. . I only wish I had more trails around here.

Dude, which trail is that in the Canyon? My brother and I have tried like 3 times to get up trail #3(black diamond) and his Tahoe has always had to turn around near the top of the hill....took our dirt bikes up there (same part kicked our asses, but got past it) and holy sh*t.........that trail is nuts, unless you're a lifted and locked Jeep...I still want to try it, though....I think it would be a blast....'cause then it drops into #1 and it's freakin' driving over these huge slabs of granite that slope all the way down the hill....I'm kind of scared for the well-being of my Pathy, though....but I think she'd make it. We should make a weekend run out there and try that trail....it would be nuts.

Here's where we had our Jeeps this weekend. The QX4 stayed home. I really think this would have been a bit too much for it.

How big are your tires? I notice that you do not have any wheel/fender gap and I love that! How did you do it?
