so can I , put it at 14 or 17 -18 degrees at wide open on my scanner? it is kinda hard to get timing set exact at idle because I have tweaked idle control and open throttle plate slightly to keep my idle a little higher (790-820rpm ) it seems to idle better driving it daily and with fans, and other goodies charging at idle better, so initially when put motor in i set it right, but have set idle higher and don't want to turn it back to set dist. up, so I was going to change monitoring WOT. what is good for 16-20psi at WOT? 13-14 or 16-18 degrees?

take your scanner, plug it in.disconnect the tps plug.check your timing at the crank pulley with a timing gun.if you crank and your timing readout display the same number, then your timing will be considered stock (20 degrees).if they dont display the same number, adjust the distributor until they are the exact same.once they are in-sync, then plug the TPS back in.

you are done after this and your car will feel different and will run exactly how JWT intended it to run.
