I have a 4th gen and a 6MT G coupe. I can judge the difference. I know I'll get flamed for this, but I think I like the feel of FWD better than RWD. It seems to require less effort to move in FWD and a lot in RWD.
But anyways, the maxima wasn't mean to be a sports car. It's a sedan. It has a very flexible chasis and even a poorly tuned VQ30DE can spin tires.
To date, I've only seen 3 maximas that were worth anything (mine), someone who recently bought some of my spare parts and another friend of mine who had CF, and a nice suspension setup.
The rest of them in the area are stupids. They put Dubs on their Maxis and then try racing me.
Or their rear suspension is so bad that they look like they're low riders with the rears dragging.
I have yet to meet a maxi driver that could actually hold their own in a race. I emphasize the "meet" part of that sentence. I know there are a lot of guys in the Max/I30 forum who are great drivers, but the ones around me are mostly a-holes.
Mine was a bit saggy-butt with the factory struts and Eibachs. Does OK now other than I need another set of illuminas. I have no issues with torque steer and the car handles great other than big bumps. I've owned it since new and have been very happy with the purchase.
With my rims I have what could be called a Gmax35
