The Saab isn't all that bad, I am abit turned off by the 3100lb curb weight though.

I THINK the 240SX can reach 141mph, but the speedo doesn't go that high. I only touch 100mph on the tollway, then back off. I guess my curiosity doesn't beat out my common sense

3,100 lbs aint that bad, i mean we are talking about a 5 door car here. the 240 will take 100mph easily and comfortably too. 15.3 quarter aint that bad either huh.

Oh no, it definitely isn't bad. In fact 15 is pretty solid. The weight is well backed up by the increased power. However, remember I am an engineering student, and spending 4+ years studying the subject gives you a wierd view of products. For cars, I believe lighter is always better. If you were to present me with two cars with the same acceleration/top speed; one lighter with a smaller engine the other larger with a larger engine I will always pick the lighter one. Less weight = less tire wear, less break wear, better mileage, and just less wear and tear in general.

That's why the dream sports car I have my eye on only weighs in at 1080lbs without the drivetrain
