If this happened to my truck, I would also just pocket the money. Scratches and dents add character to my truck...and it will give the ones already on the truck company. haha

Just remember to get at least three estimates...the more you get the more you have to choose from. Stay away from big name paint repair (Maaco, etc.) and find an ASE and/or AAA rated repairman. Show concern about the welds between the body panels and the frame if a dent is noticeable. If your door is dented or you are concerned about the part that was hit...tell the mechanic you want a new part.

I had a red RX7 that was a magnet for catastophe:$600 from North Carolina DOT for not having signs up while painting the roads. $1100 from someone backing into me, knocking off a flip-up headlight.$1200 from someone hitting it while it was parked.

Good Luck...and sorry you have to spend your time on it!!I sold it soon after the last incident for $600 and and broke about even.
